Everest conquers Snowdon

Thirty four year old Ben Everest from Edenbridge, scaled new heights when he took on a gruelling multi-activity challenge on and around Mount Snowdon to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research, a charity close to his heart.   The triathlon-esque event meant Ben, had to cycle 17km around the bottom of the UK’s second highest peak, then trek for 15km up the Ranger Path to the summit and back down to one of the mountain’s lakes where he kayaked for 4km.  As if this was not enough of a trial, Ben had to complete the overall distance of 35km within a 12 hour time-frame.
